Spaces has potential, but there are a few things that bug me. For one, I'd like to have a different desktop and dock setup for each Space. Also, I'd like to be able to have different windows open for the same app in each Space. In other words, if I'm working on two or three different projects in Illustrator, each one should be in a different Space. As it is now, all windows for a given app have to be in the same Space. Which makes no sense. To answer Jim's question about needing Leopard: not really, if you're not a heavy user. Time Machine is cooler than Chronosync, and I can help you get it set up next time I'm down there. I might even be able to bring along an evaluation copy of Leopard for you. The transparent menu bar doesn't bother me. I keep the dock on the <a href="http://twodinks.com/dave/davesdock.png" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">left side of my screen</a>, rather than the bottom, so the goofy 3-D effect isn't an issue for me. Mouse over text in the body of an email and a date will reveal a drop down menu asking if you want to add the event to iCal. (I actually stopped there to fondle the iPhones, but I'm afraid to use my thumb too much, lest Steve Jobs read my thumbprint and steal my identity.
