Four More Years!

If you still need proof that John McCain represents (at least) four more years of the policies of one of the least popular Presidents in history, here it is: he’s encouraging the Treasury Dept. (part of the executive branch) to go ahead and spend $1,000,000,000,000 (that’s one trillion dollars) to buy up all those bad mortgages. You’d think that Congress voting down the most recent bailout package and voter feedback running ten-to-one against it (and with his crotchety ass running for President), he’d avoid sticking his neck out. But no, the old man’s gone ahead and shown his hand again. He’s interested in the type of unpopular, unilateral, fuck-the-process moves that Bush has been pulling for two terms:

Meanwhile, I realize this guy may not be popular with some people, but try to put aside your shoot-the-messenger tendencies and read this.
