Merno and I always enjoy media coverage the big movie openings here in the lower 48, because they always find a way for the blockbuster of the week to break some record. Biggest 3 day consecutive tally. Biggest non holiday opening. Biggest non sequel weekend. Fastest film to 100 million. Biggest Tuesday in May that was not overcast. Best weekend ever for a black guy not named Will Smith. Star Trek broke The Dark Knights record of biggest 3 day IMAX opening. So I guess I should go see it now, because "The Hangover" doesn't open until June 9th. Hah hah, Eskimo land. You tell him, Dave.
