The Deadliest Brain

So Beeb and I are big fans of Discovery’s “Deadliest Catch.” Beeb likes sweaty hairy guys and I like to watch other people work. Anyway, the theme song for the show is “Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi. You know the song. I’m pretty sure my grandmother knew the song. But not Beeb. So I acquired the song through strictly legal means and played it for her.

Beeb’s response: “I think I remember that tinkly guitar part at the beginning and end.”

“You’ve got to be kidding. They played the living shit out of that song.”

Then the intro to Pink Floyd’s “Money” starts.

Beeb: “MONAY! DOO DOO DOO.”

Me: “Oh my God.”

At least she wasn’t singing M & M’s from Godzilla!! lol lol

So I had to go to iTunes last night and buy Major Tom (the Shiny Toy Guns version) because I kept hearing it on the Lincoln commercial. Call me a freak but I like it better than Bowie’s version.

Oh – and it’s good that Beeb likes sweaty guys. Her and the deer flies…

I’d like to hear Beeb’s rendition of Smoke On The Water.

  3. Other Jim says:

Can Beeb do Crazy Train? How about Iron Man? This is what the people want.
I’m coming up there during Shark Week. I’ll bet Beeb will entertain us famously.

Great, now I’ve got Dead or Alive in my head…..complete with tinkly guitar part.
