Unprepared, it seems

So my brother Tony headed to his house on Long Island over last weekend. He doesn’t bring any boots with him, and they don’t own a shovel. Anyone seeing the impending problem yet? Luckily, they had stopped for groceries on the way out of the city Friday night. His girlfriend wakes up Saturday to find a narrow path down the driveway…she follows it to find the Rottweiler and my brother, who is now using a bamboo cutting board to shovel snow. She told me it was like finding two escapees using what they could find to make their break. After laughing and taking appropriate photos of this, she calls the neighbor, who calls his people, and within 30 minutes there are 6 men of questionable legality clearing the driveway with shovels and a Bobcat. I finally know what to get him for his 40th birthday in January. Somewhere on the Googlenet, someone must sell a bamboo cutting board with a long ergonomic handle…
